Prevention is better than cure.

Proper Care

Maintaining oral hygiene is a daily ritual that will not only keep your teeth white and healthy, but will also protect you from many diseases. Brushing the teeth in the morning and in the evening with the right type of toothpaste is an absolute basis, but it is often not enough. Comprehensive oral care also includes brushing the teeth after each meal, regular flossing and using mouthwash. Just as important is keeping a proper, well-balanced diet, avoiding alcohol and tobacco, and undergoing regular check-ups at a trusted dental clinic.

Signs of Problems

Toothache and bleeding gums, bleeding from the mouth, hypersensitivity to temperature, unpleasant breath and other disturbing symptoms are signs that you should go to the dentist immediately and have your teeth and gums checked. Not all symptoms indicate that the disease process has already started. Sometimes it is enough to start using a different dental care product or take additional prophylactic measures. Informed oral care and hygiene make it possible to undertake preventive actions and often allow avoiding long-term treatment, which is why we emphasize their importance.

Preventative Dental Appointments

We encourage patients of all ages to schedule consultations and preventive appointments, which are a perfect complement to the daily oral hygiene. A dental appointment is a meeting during which a dentist performs a comprehensive examination of the oral cavity, checks the condition of teeth and gums, asks the patient about their general medical history and, if necessary, proposes an individual preventive or treatment program, tailored to the particular needs of each patient.

Professional Teeth Cleaning

Professional teeth cleaning is part of the prevention program and may be performed using various techniques, depending on the individual needs of the patient. The most common techniques include scaling, i.e. tartar removal, polishing of teeth surfaces with special polishing paste and fluoridation, which increases protection against tooth decay.
