Basic dental care, sometimes referred to as conservative dentistry, means any kind of treatment that seeks to preserve natural, healthy and strong teeth. Thanks to fast and professional action, a healthy and beautiful smile never leaves our patients. Conservative dental treatment is always preceded by thorough diagnostics, tailored to the individual needs of the patient, and the assessment of the condition of teeth and existing cavities. All treatments are performed using state-of-the-art, certified dental materials of the highest quality.

When filling the teeth, we do not only care about durability of the fillings, but we also carefully choose their colour to match it with that of the patient’s enamel. This makes the fillings completely invisible and looking like natural teeth.

Endodontic treatment (also called root canal treatment) involves removing the diseased and irreversibly altered pulp from the inside of the tooth, cleaning and disinfecting the pulp cavity and root canals, and then filling them with permanent medicinal and stabilizing material. The purpose of root canal treatment is to remove the source of infection and prevent it from recurring.

Three-dimensional visualization of the treated tooth using computerized microtomography enables making a quick and accurate diagnosis of inflammations in teeth and jaw bones. Once we have a complete picture of the lesions, we are able to perform endodontic treatment.

The duration and number of appointments depend on the severity of the inflammation and the potential difficulty in opening the root canal. More demanding cases, will probably require two visits, each lasting from 1.5 to 2 hours. In the primary treatment of a tooth with previously untreated root canal, one session lasting from 45 minutes to 1 hour is usually enough.
